Campaign 2026: 53rd Congress election primer

Patria is flooded with SRM 2026 campaign posters!

Election time in Patria! Here's what you need to know:

Election Day: April 18, 2026 (Third Saturday in April; Patriot’s Day long weekend). Fredonia votes one week early, on April 11.

Inauguration Day: June 30, 2026

What’s at stake: 333 seats in Patria’s Fifty Third Congress (LIII Con. Pat.), elections for Precinct legislatures and local city, county or demi-precinct councils in some of Patria’s 13 Precincts and the Federal District of Castoropolis (FDC). There is also an upper house in Patria, like the US and Canadian Senate or UK House of Lords, but its 57 members are selected by the Precinct legislatures, not by direct popular vote.

Three hundred thirty three seats, same as it has been since 1982. An effort to shrink the Congress to 315 (the number of seats from 1966 to 1982) or even 300 seats has apparently failed as of Oct. 10, 2025. The bill was introduced at the outset of the Fourth Session, but failed to make it out of the Elections Committee to be voted on by the full House.

Members of Congress are elected by proportional representation. In each precinct, lists of candidates are prepared by each party and seats are awarded in proportion to the percentage of votes received. In the Federal District of Castoropolis, Caesarea, Antioch and Haldimania, a mixed-member proportional format is used. One-third of the seats (district seats) are awarded by traditional US, Canadian and UK-style first past the post, the remainder are proportional from party lists.

Congressional apportionment per precinct:

Caesarea – 61 seats (20 district, 41 proportional)

FDC – 38 (13 district, 25 proportional)

Nova Columbia – 36

Lazuria – 27

Centralia – 25

Aeolia – 24

Arboria – 21

Antioch – 19 (6 district, 13 proportional)

Ambrosia – 17

Canardiere – 16

Mauretania – 15

Pottsylvania – 13

Haldimania – 12 (4 district, 8 proportional)

Fredonia – 9

Term of office: Four year term ending June 30, 2030.

Vote counting: paper ballots counted by hand. Early mail-in voting will be encouraged. There will also be advance polls to allow in-person voting prior to Election Day. Fredonia is traditionally the first precinct to vote and its vote count is released a few hours before the polls open on Election Day in the rest of Patria.

Patria is as far as it gets from the dishwater-dull, boring, uninspired US two-party system, and what is essentially a two-party Liberal-Conservative duopoly in Canada. Following are capsule descriptions of the parties contesting the 2026 election.

Social Democrats “Go Forward!” democratic socialists in the tradition of the NDP/CCF and Bernie Sanders. Populist/dissident left, not PC, little tolerance for snowflakes. Won plurality in 2018, allied with Amrita and Chakra parties. (Unofficial color: blue, cf. US Democratic Party)

SRM (Swadeshi Ramrajya Movement) “Bring the jobs home” “Patria first” Small-c conservative Hindu nationalist, economic protectionist. Partially inspired by India’s BJP. Once used to be leftist-progressive, when the party originated among hippie students in the late 1960s, and SRM used to stand for Spiritual Regeneration Movement. Although the “BRING IT HOME” slogan didn’t work for Pierre Poilievre, the SRM will be using it hard for 2026. (Unofficial color: saffron)

Chakra Party “no gurus, just right” yoga/new age liberal. Unreconstructed 1990s new agers. Generally allied with Amrita and/or Social Democrats. (Unofficial color: teal)

National Union “where a man belongs”, “big dogs, tough men” macho, populist law and order, obedience, respect for authority. Owning a big dog is a test of manhood. Cats are for pussies. In 2026 the NU will likely stick to strictly law and order issues, push for restoration of the death penalty, and not go after the cat owners and non-macho men. (Unofficial color: deep purple)

Jungle Party “Have a take, don’t suck”, inspired by Jim Rome. Really a fringe party with no real platform. Silk Brah (failed candidate in Huntington Beach, CA) led the Jungle caucus in 2022. (Unofficial color: red, cf. US Republican Party as a lot of Jim Rome’s US clones, the late Trapper notwithstanding, would probably vote GOP.)

Green Party, environmentalist, sustainable growth, same as in macro-world. (color, duhhhh, green)

Libertarian Party, more freedom, less government, also same as in macro-world. (Unofficial color: grey/silver)

Lilith Party, for biological women only, originally intended as the anti-National Union. Mostly made up of radical left feminists who love cats. Extremely TERF. Co-sponsored the SAAB (Sex Assigned At Birth) act along with the NU and SRM. An unlikely alliance is forming between the NU (who are also extremely trans-phobic) and Lilith: REAL MEN AND REAL WOMEN! NO TRANS! (unofficial color pink, to no one’s surprise)

IAM Party: new for 2026, a possible resurrection of the Amrita Party that was dissolved in late 2021. Name of party would simply be IAM, not Independent Amrita Members. In Patrienish “I am” is literally “ími sím”.

Minor parties: fringe groups and nutbars (Chastity Party, Family Values Party, Freedom Party, Patriots’ Union of Nova Columbia, etc.) that get in thanks to no votes being wasted under proportional representation. There are several parties that hold only a single seat in Congress.

Hot-button campaign issues and slogans:

Continuing the post-pandemic recovery. “Just move on” is not acceptable. Patria should say “never again”, i.e. no more over-reaction and government over-reach. IT WAS ONLY THE FUCKING FLU! Or a bad cold. Why is there not a COVID Nuremberg? Why is no one in the macro-world being held accountable for the spike in domestic violence, drug abuse, alcoholism, children’s learning deficits, bankruptcies, suicides and other collateral damage?

PATRIA FIRST! No need to fear populism, whether from the right or left.

TAKE BACK THE ECONOMY! Return the Patrienish Rupee to the gold standard. Patria says NO FIAT CURRENCY! NO GREAT RESET!

Attempting to re-define or ret-con the legacy of the 43rd Congress, after 40 years, along with attempting to rehabilitate the failed 41st Congress.

Four more years of Social Democrat populist/dissident left? If so, Patria says NO to cancel culture. NO to PC virtue signaling. YES to free speech and open debate. Patria may be leftist or socialist in economic policy but it rejects Cultural Marxism and is NOT WOKE!

“BRING IT HOME!” – slogan of the SRM-led coalition of right-populist Hindu nationalists and Patria-Firsters in 2026. Social Democrats: “PROGRESS WITH A PURPOSE”. Chakra Party: “BRING IT TOGETHER!” National Union: “BIG DOGS! LAW AND ORDER!”

Neither left nor right: minor and fringe parties hold Patria’s balance of power

Thanks to proportional representation, minor parties play a key role in Patria and a vote for one of the pint-size parties is almost never a wasted vote. A coalition government, whether led by the Social Democrats, SRM or even the Chakra Party, usually can’t be cobbled together without the support of at least one such party. When a two-thirds majority is needed for ratification of many pieces of legislation, and even for the bills that can be passed with a simple 50% majority, one vote here and one vote there from a fringe or nutbar party can be crucial.

Patria’s Green Party and Libertarian party need no further explanation, as they share the policies and platforms with their macro-national Green and Libertarian counterparts.

The Lilith Party is a party of radical feminists, as hard-left as they come. Real “womyn” only, born with real vulvas and a full set of xx chromosomes. Trans women should steer clear of them. TERFs don’t come any more TERF than the Lilith Party.

There are a few single-issue parties, such as the Chastity Party and Family Values Party whose platforms are pretty much self-explanatory. They have no real raison d’être other than promoting socially conservative causes for the few who actually care about such things as advocating modest dress for women or banning public displays of affection. Local parties that appear on the ballot in only one precinct, such as the Pottsylvanian Alliance and Lazurian Independent Party, exist mainly to represent the interests of Pottsylvania and Lazuria respectively and try to get the precinct a better deal from Castoropolis. Like Canada, Patria’s version of federalism also includes transfer payments or economic subsidies from the federal government in order to help close the gap between the rich precincts such as Caesarea and the poorer ones such as Fredonia.

The fringiest of the fringe parties is arguably the Jungle Party, whose leader is the noted sports talk show host Jim Rome. The typical Jungle party voter is an unemployed or minimally employed 30-something male living in his parents’ basement, playing online games, eating leftovers or junk food, and with no girlfriend to speak of. But the party has apparently drawn men who might otherwise vote National Union.

Single-seat “parties of one” are not unusual in Patria’s Congress. In 2018 the Pottsylvanian Alliance, Lazurian Independent Party, Patriots’ Union of Nova Columbia (PUNC, usually pronounced as acronym), Peoples’ Party, Reconstruction Party and Popular Front of Caesarea took one seat each.

Patria rejects carbon tax as Congress adjourns

The First Session of the Fifty First Congress (1·LI 2018-19) adjourned for the [northern hemisphere] summer recess after protracted burn-the-midnight-oil debate on whether Patria should adopt a carbon tax. In the end, the tax was rejected thanks to heavy lobbying by the SRM and its conservative allies. Nonetheless, Patria remains committed to a made-in-Patria version of the Green New Deal.

As traditional, before the Speaker of the House whacked the gavel on the dais and the Sergeant-at-Arms blew the vuvuzela to declare the session closed, the Annual Message to Congress was delivered, as follows:
Sarvamangalya mangalye shive sarvartha sadhike, sharanye tryambake Gauri, Narayani namostute. With the Divine Mother’s blessings and at the lotus feet of both Amma Sri Karunamayi and Amma Amritanandamayi, the Fifty-first Congress has come to the end of its first year in office.
In keeping with Patria’s traditions and congressional protocol, the last act of the First Session took place just moments ago – the ratification of Patria’s fiscal 2020 budget. As a partial sop to the SRM and economic conservatives, and in order to keep the price of fuel affordable, particularly for anyone who prefers to drive rather than use public transit, this budget does not include a carbon tax. Such a tax, that would have added at least 12 Patrienish Rupees to the price of a litre of petrol but likely would do little – beyond a symbolic or virtue-signalling value – to protect the environment and would only force those in Patria who can least afford it – seniors, low-wage earners, families struggling to make ends meet, and small mom-and-pop businesses – to pay for the over-consumption of the US and other First World macro-powers, was voted down in this House albeit by a slim margin. Nonetheless, in order to encourage use of public transit, the budget includes increased funding for Castoropolis Transit and local transit authorities to purchase new vehicles, expand service and upgrade transit infrastructure.

Rather than impose another tax on those who can least afford it, this Congress believes that a better way to address climate change and help clean up the pollution caused by our addiction to fossil fuels is “make the polluters pay”. The costs of environmental remediation must be paid by the Big Oil plutocrats and the CEOs of amoral transnational corporations who have a far greater responsibility for runaway pollution and greenhouse gas emissions than single mothers or small businesses.

Carbon tax or no, Patria supports a peaceful, healthy planet and a made-in-Patria version of the Green New Deal that will move the economy away from dependence on fossil fuels and non-renewable energy. Since 2016, Patria has supported MAPS. In memory of Darcy Belanger – one of the leading movers of the Marine Arctic Peace Sanctuary treaty, who lost his life in the Ethiopian Airlines B-737 Max crash in March of this year – Patria will redouble its commitment to MAPS. This treaty will keep military activity and commercial exploitation out of the Arctic Ocean waters and it is Patria’s hope that through Parvati and her team of dedicated devotees of Amma, more real-world macro-national governments will sign on to MAPS.

Along with Canada, Patria will pursue a ban on single-use plastic products such as straws, cutlery and shopping bags. These products are rarely recycled or re-used and while they may be easier and cheaper in the short term, they have long-term consequences for the environment. They already have been banned in a number of Patria’s cities and precincts. In 2020, this Congress will enact a Patria-wide ban. Be prepared now: if you drink from a straw, get a metal one. Bring your own cloth bag to the supermarket. Serve your family picnic or barbecue with real forks, not plastic ones. Friends of Patria, keeping needless plastic waste out of landfills and oceans is not rocket science.

As the Fifty-first Congress moves into its second year, Patria remains both democratic socialist and politically incorrect. Yes, this is possible. Patria is committed to democratic socialist ideals such as a living wage, single-payer health care for all and low-cost post-secondary education or apprenticeship training. At the same time, Patria says NO to the Thought Police, Cultural Marxists, self-righteous high-horse Social Justice Warriors and others who seem to proliferate on the so-called “woke” left doing everything humanly possible to destroy Patria’s constitutionally protected rights of free speech, open debate, freedom of association and lawful assembly for the purpose of peaceful protest. In Patria, in the 51st Congress, the dissident and populist left can find a home. It is a home that Bernie Sanders would recognize but one that may not be friendly to easily-offended overly-sensitive snowflakes. It is a home where there are no so-called safe spaces and trigger warnings on college campuses. It is a home where physical assault by gutless cowards is a crime but not hurt feelings caused by lawful citizens exercising their constitutional right of free speech. And it is a home where the violent masked thugs of Antifa are not welcome, no matter how much they claim to be on “our side” or to be “progressives”.

In the First Session, Patria had a simple four-word answer to all the tired old horses that left the barn years ago and all the failed policies of ages past that keep getting trotted out and can’t seem to die: “we have moved on”. To the social conservatives who have not stopped trying to re-criminalize abortion, keep women in their place at home, bring back “1950s family values” and re-make Patria into a micro version of Red-State America: “we have moved on”. To dishwater-dull middle-ground centrist neo-liberals who cling to the status quo or at best “incremental” change: “we have moved on”. And to all those tired canards and lame proposals, many of which are leftovers from the last century, that will keep being dragged out over the next three years of this Congress or in the 2022 election campaign particularly by National Unionists, such as raising the drinking age to 25 or imposing dress codes and curfews on kids: “we have moved on”.

As heard earlier today on AM 1152 PMBC, Patria congratulates the winner of Smack Off XXV: five-time Smack Off winner Brad in Corona. While the Jungle Party is only a small player in the 51st Congress, Jim Rome’s credo rings loud and strong throughout Patria: Have a take, don’t suck!

Finally, Patria congratulates the Toronto Raptors. Earlier this month the Raptors became the first team based outside the United States to win the NBA championship, in six hard-fought games against the heavily-favored defending champion Golden State Warriors.

And so the time has come; let us make a pledge to meet in September. As is traditional, this session is adjourned with a brief prayer, and a moment of silent reflection for those who have lost their lives during the course of this session as a result of war, terrorist acts, hate crimes or other senseless violence from Pittsburgh to Poway, Christchurch to Colombo:

Lokah samasthah sukhino bhavantu. Asato ma sad gamaya. Tamaso ma jyotir gamaya. Mrityor ma amritam gamaya. Hari Om.  Shanti, Shanti, Shanti.

Under the power vested in me by the Constitution of Patria, I declare closed the First Session of the 51st Congress, and call this Congress to re-assemble here on Monday, 16 September 2019, to open the Second Session of the 51st Congress.

(the House adjourned at 11:55 PM local time)

On this last day of the congressional session, Patria Post released two new stamp issues, depicting both Ammas.

Brad in Corona wins Smack-Off XXIV

In Patria, get your Jungle on PMBC-1152. Have a take! Don't suck!
Brad in Corona is the Jim Rome Show's "King of Smack" for 2018, winning his fourth title in Smack-Off XXIV, which aired today on the CBS Sports Network. For winning the Smack-Off, Brad wins a cash prize of 5000 USD. Second place and below receive jack shit, but they do get seats in Patria's Congress, representing the Jungle Party.

Smack-Off XXIV Top Ten finishers:
  1. Brad In Corona (4th title)*
  2. Steve Carbone and Sean the Cablinasian
  3. Leff In Laguna*
  4. Mike In Indy*
  5. Benny In Wisco
  6. Mark In Hollywood*
  7. Rick In Buffalo
  8. Kaleb In Green Bay
  9. Vic In No Cal*
  10. Matt In Vancouver
As is the case for Smack-Off's held in an election year in Patria, Smack-Off XXIV also determined the Jungle Party caucus for the 51st Congress. The Jungle Party won only 11 seats in the election held on April 21, 2018, down from 28 seats in 2014. Incumbent members from the 50th Congress are indicated by * above. A lot of Jungle Party clones lost their seats in Congress, thanks in part to the resurgence of the Social Democrats. The eleven seats in the 51st Congress are awarded to Jim Rome (House Leader) plus the top nine Smack-Off finishers - note that old-school Clones Steve Carbone and the Cablinasian tied for second place. Precinct representation is as follows: Jim Rome represents the Federal District of Castoropolis, Brad in Corona and Rick in Buffalo represent Nova Columbia, the Carbone/Cablinasian tag team represents the Precinct of Caesarea. Leff in Lazuria, Mike in Centralia, Benny in Aeolia (the Wisconsin of Patria - the Precinct of Aeolia is known for its dairy products), Mark in Antioch, Kaleb in Mauretania, and Vic in Haldimania.

Smack-Off XXIV airs July 20

Jungle Party House Leader Jim Rome announced that Smack-Off XXIV will take place on Friday, July 20. The Smack-Off is the Jungle Party's method of choosing its caucus for the 51st Congress-elect. Because it will air (on flagship station PMBC-1152 in Castoropolis and other affiliates throughout Patria) almost three weeks after Inauguration Day, the Jungle Party caucus will not be seated in Congress until well after the Inauguration. In any case, the Jungle Party made a rather poor showing in the 51st Congress election on April 21, winning only 11 seats. They held 28 seats in the 50th Congress, so that's  a whopping 17 seats lost since 2014, many of them taken by the Social Democrats.

Jim Rome looking natty in his three-piece pinstripe suit, despite the Jungle Party losing more than half its seats from 2014.
Jim Rome says of the Smack-Off:
Because this is thing is about to turn 24 and still breaking ground. 24 in but the first time we’ve put it on TV! Can’t lie when this thing dropped nearly a quarter century ago, it never dawned on me that one day we’d be doing it on TV, but we here are. Here we freaking are.

And a little background if you don’t know what it is. Listen, I’m pretty self-aware: I know what I’m good at and I know where I’m not as effective. Same with you: I know what you all are good at. And calling this show is not one of those things. Many of you, most of you want to be good, you’re just not. But there’s a small contingency of you killers who are. And I used to think, if I could just pick who I wanted to call this show every day, it would be so much better than it already is. But that just wasn’t realistic. I knew I couldn’t do it every single day, but I could do it once a year. And that’s how the Smackoff was born.

One day, of nothing but calls, where the best of the best, go at it and go at each other for the right to be King Of Smack: the right to be called the best caller on the show for a year; oh and you get $5 grand in cash for winning it.

The catch is, it’s invite only: you have to qualify; you have to actually be in to win it. How do you get in? With quality calls. Or even one incredible call if I’m feeling it and want to award you with the so-called the golden ticket. Past winners have lifetime exemptions.

And to be the champ, you’re going to have to beat the champ; in fact, the two time defending champ. The Laguna Beach Bully, Leff: who has pulled off some crazy bleep the last two years.

I have no idea what the hell Leff has in store for this year, but I do know he’s the one to beat. Write it down, July 20. You think you’re better than that guy, prove it. If you know you’re not and just want to listen or participate in social, get the day off. Now you know when it is, and now it’s official: Smackoff 24 is July 20. Be there! Because it’s going to be on TV for the first time.
Note the USD 5000 prize to the winner. In cash. The top ten finishers in the Smack-Off will be automatically awarded seats in the 51st Congress. Since the Jungle Party managed to win only 11 seats, there's just enough room for the Smack-Off top ten and their House Leader (i.e. Jim Rome), unless Mr. Rome wants to add a member or two of his XR4TI crew (the producer, call screener and other support staff on the daily radio show, named for Rome's first car, the incredibly crappy Merkur XR4Ti) to the Jungle's 51st Congress caucus.

Patria feels the Bern for the 51st Congress!

Patria awakens on Earth Day - the day after Election Day 2018 - to find the Bernie Sanders-inspired Social Democrats have won the most seats in the 51st Congress-elect. The Social Dems took 96 seats - elected by mixed-member proportional representation - in the 333-seat Congress, up 47 from 2014. The Amrita Party of Amma's "Embracing Patria" devotees finished a strong second with 78 seats (up 10 from 2014). The "Patria First" SRM, despite all the noise they made about taking back the economy and bringing the jobs home, gained only one seat more than 2014, but with 56 seats the SRM is still a strong force that will oppose the likely SD-Amrita-Chakra-Green coalition. Notwithstanding the popularity of right-wing populists and nationalists in the macro-world from Donald Trump's America to Doug Ford's Ontario, voters in Patria just weren't buying the economic nationalism, tariffs and protectionism that the SRM has been pushing for years. Why such a strong surge for the SD? A need for real change? Giving the right wing the middle-finger salute? Not buying the fear-mongering of the "Faith. Family Freedom" types tweeting @Patriavotes2018 who warned against an impending communist takeover? More likely that voters across Patria simply said "FUCK THIS!" and threw their lot in with the so-called Berners or Bernie-crats, hoping that old-school democratic socialism added to the Amrita and Chakra Party's Hindu/yoga/embracing the world mix will improve their economic prospects over the next four years more than building tariff walls and promises to "make Patria great again".

The real losers in 2018 are the macho law-and-order, pit bull-owning, gun-toting, cop-loving National Union, who sink further into irrelevance with only 21 seats (down 5 from 2014) despite running one of the loudest campaigns of 2018, vilifying wimpy soft-on-crime liberal "pussies" (both two legs and four - the NU hates cats and cat owners because real men own big dogs such as pit bulls and rottweilers). Jim Rome's Jungle Party also lost big. The Clones could manage only 11 seats (down a whopping 17 from 2014) as the Rome show has become tired and uninspired over the past four years.

96 seats in the 51st Congress-elect. Because FUCK THIS SHIT!

The Fourth Session of the 50th Congress (4·L 2017-18) is about to return for a lame-duck session that will continue until a couple days before Inauguration Day, June 30. There are a number of items on the order paper while the 51st Congress-elect waits out the transition, including Patria's fiscal 2019 budget. Traditionally the budget is the last item to be ratified before Congress adjourns for the summer recess or Inauguration Day.

Leff in Laguna repeats as Smack-Off champion

Leff in Laguna is the winner of Smack-Off XXIII, the annual competition on the weekday CBS Sports Radio show hosted by Jungle Party House Leader Jim Rome (heard in Patria on PMBC-1152 and locally in the greater Toronto area on CKOC-1150 in Hamilton, ON), in which select listeners are invited to provide their best “Smack Talk”. Back-to-back titles for the Laguna Beach Bully, who won the event last year!

For the win, Leff was awarded the cash prize of US $5000 (about 217,000 Patrienish Rupees). Note that the Smack-Off prize is winner take all; second place receives nothing, not even a set of steak knives. Congratulations, Leff!

Top ten finalists of Smack-Off XXIII
Current and past Smack-Off participants make up the bulk of the Jungle Party caucus in Patria's Congress. With 28 seats in the 50th Congress (two more than the macho, law-and-order National Union), the Jungle Party is seeking to increase its standing in the 51st Congress when the election is held on April 21, 2018. Leff represents the precinct of Nova Columbia in the 50th Congress by virtue of having been a Golden Ticket recipient in the 2014 Smack-Off and is virtually certain to retain that seat in the 51st Congress, as Smack-Off XXIV will likely be held in July 2018, well after Inauguration Day.

Smack-Off XXII: Laguna Beach Bully wins

The twenty-second edition of the Smack-Off, hosted by Jungle Party house leader Jim Rome, aired today on the CBS Sports Network and Patria's leading sports talk AM blowtorch PMBC-1152 in Castoropolis.

In a very tough competition with no clear favorite emerging after the three-hour show, the US $5000 (about 210,000 Patrienish Rupees) cash prize to the winner of the Smack-Off went to Leff in Laguna, aka the "Laguna Beach Bully". Note that the Smack-Off prize is winner take all; second place receives nothing, not even a set of steak knives.

Top ten Smack-Off callers:
10. Brad in Corona (2015 defending champion)
9.   Caleb in Wisconsin
8.   Chael Sonnen
7.   Chad in LA (Golden Ticket winner)
6.   Vic in NoCal
5.   Mark in Boston
4.   Mark in Hollywood
3.   Iafrate (day job is a rabbi in LA!)
2.   Mike in Indy
1.   Leff in Laguna

In Patria, the Smack-Off winner also receives a Jungle Party seat in Patria's Congress, at the next election. In 2018 look for Leff to represent some lucky precinct for the 51st Congress.

Smack Off XX: Mike in Indy and Chael Sonnen co-champions

Smack-Off XX, which aired today in Patria on PMBC-1152 and on CBS Sports Network stations all across America, and trended on Twitter with the hashtag #Smackoff20, was the twentieth anniversary edition of the legendary annual competition in which select Jim Rome show listeners are invited to provide their best “Smack Talk.” The contest is a way to recognize the best callers to the show, as well as a means of determining the best caller of the year. Every fourth year in Patria, the Smack-Off also serves to determine the Jungle Party caucus in the new Congress.

The title of "King of Smack" for 2014 is shared, as Mike in Indy and 2012 Smack-Off champion Chael Sonnen joined forces for a unique tag-team call. Defending 2013 champion Mark in Hollywood finished a strong second. Smack-Off XX airs June 27

Jungle Party House Leader Jim Rome announced that Smack-Off XX - the twentieth annual event for the best of the best callers in the Jungle - would take place on Friday, June 27 - a mere 72 hours before Inauguration Day! The Smack-Off is Christmas in June not only for Jim Rome's devoted Clones (listeners) worldwide, but in Patria as well. The results of the 2014 Smack-Off determine the Jungle Party's caucus in the 50th Congress-elect. Will Mark in Hollywood defend his 2013 Smack-Off title? What other legendary Clones will claim the Jungle Party's 28 seats that were won on April 19? Tune in on June 27, amid the pre-Inaugural festivities of the last few days of the old administration. In Castoropolis, your Jungle affiliate is PMBC-1152.

Note that there will not be a Hack-Off for the worst of the worst callers. Rome killed the Hack-Off after the 2013 show turned into an unmitigated train wreck with no Hack being able to win the prize of a berth in the Smack-Off. The Rat Family has a better chance than the Hack-Off of returning to the Jungle.
